Te Pūtāiki

Tēnā koutou! We are Te Pūtāiki, the UC Māori Law Students' Society. Our role is to guide and support ākonga Māori through their law school journey. Our events aim to support ākonga both socially and academically. We provide opportunities for our members to compete in mooting and negotiations competitions, in which the winners then go on to compete at a national level. We host events that foster whakawhanaungatanga between our members. The pinnacle event of our calendar year is attending Te Hunga Rōia Māori o Aotearoa (Māori Law Society) - Hui ā Tau. This event allows our ākonga to connect with other Māori law students and law professionals from all across the motu.
