The UC Basketball Club is one of the biggest clubs in Canterbury and caters for men and women and competitive and social level players alike. Currently the club has teams in Men's Premier, Under 23 and Women's Prems and Div 1 in the Canterbury Basketball Club competition during the winter season (May-Sept). Trials occur in March at the UC Rec Centre. Teams are comprised of a mix of current students and graduates/non-students. On a social level, UC Sport has Social Leagues during semester time at the UC Rec Centre. We also have numerous social events including preseason and season ending functions along with regular club mixers to make everyone feel welcome and included.
